The chairman of Berjaya Corporation Berhad Tan Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun is turning 70 this Wednesday (23rd February) and it looks like the family are already kicking off his birthday celebration.
Daughter Chryseis Tan (陈雪铃) took to her Instagram Stories to share snippets of their joyous occasion where the Malaysian tycoon got to spend time with granddaughter Arianna Kyla. Singers Nikki Palikat and Siti Nurhaliza were also present to serenade the crowd.
Those who couldn’t be physically present made time to record their well-wishes to Mr Vincent. Besides a video presentation from the Berjaya family, son Morvin Tan (who had just welcomed his first child – a baby boy – in Berlin, Germany) also congratulated the 70-year-old businessman on another milestone. But what caught netizens’ eyes was the special birthday message from Andy Lau (刘德华).
The Hong Kong superstar said, “I can’t make it to your 70th birthday party. But I’d like to send my best wishes through this video“. He then sang a sweet birthday song, singing, “Happy birthday to my brother.” Take a look at the short clip below:
For those that don’t know, Vincent Tan is actually the uncle of Andy’s wife Carol Chu. Over the years, the Tan family and the actor have maintained a close relationship. Chryseis has also posted snapshots of herself with Andy in the past.
