Not again! Iqbal Zulkefli has found himself the victim of internet trolls.
This time, it appears that someone went all out by spreading an edited NSFW image of the entrepreneur in nothing but his underwear on social media! Refusing to stay mum about it, Iqbal immediately stepped forward to shut down the claims surrounding the photo.
“Fake! This is not my body. I’m literally shaking as I share this post. But since the image has already been circulated online, I feel the need to set the record straight. Clearly, my body is not like this,” Iqbal opened his statement on Instagram Story. “That being said, there are still those who blindly believe these allegations.”
He added, “I received tons of messages this morning, they asked whether I created a new FB account. The answer is, ‘No!’ My only Facebook account is Ahmad Iqbal Zulkefli. I also came across another fake profile named Iqbal Zulkefli, which receives hundreds of comments per post.”
“Before this, someone photoshopped my photo to look like a pig. This time around, though, I think this sort of prank is is just inappropriate. Please help me report the account,” Iqbal continued in his IG Story post, seemingly enraged by the culprit.
“I’ve been trying to track the account down, but to no avail. It appears that I’ve been blocked by them. If the situation continues like this, I thought maybe I just don’t belong here in Malaysia. Regardless, I still choose to stay calm and strong. I’ve been slapped with countless of trials and tribulations. This time, I really need the support from everyone,” the “Hujan” singer expressed.
In case you are wondering, the Facebook profiles mentioned by Iqbal are still active online. Though, the photoshopped semi-nude photo of him has already been deleted.
