Now that MCO has been lifted and most Malaysians are vaccinated, many restrictions too are being loosened. This includes travelling to other states. A lot of us want to travel to see family, friends and maybe take a well-deserved holiday.
After all, staying in the same place for days may have turned some of us crazy. That could possibly explain why influencers Bryan Wee and Kiang Jau Sang (江昭上) decided to “let it go” on their Genting trip.
Bryan’s last appearance turned many heads as he decided to dress skimpily and visit a local McDonalds. As it turns out, he’s not done with the outfit just yet. Bryan has brought the bikini overlaid with a near-transparent leopard-print leotard to Resorts World Genting for a revealing photo session. This time however, he’s joined by Kiang Jau Sang in the exact same outfit.
Jau Sang had apparently teased netizens about their trip with a post. “Who has a room tonight in Genting?” he asked. “Can you pick me and Bryan Wee in two hours?” Bryan then uploaded photos of the duo in Resorts World Genting on 1st November. His cheeky caption read: “We are here! Hope (we) can win 30,000 with 300.” The duo can be seen posing sexily in a parking lot, in front of a shop and in a casino. They also danced to “Lalisa” with a few people watching entranced in the background.
The photos caused an uproar among netizens. Some found the photos offensive. “Can we not get Genting to shut (this) down please?” a netizen asked. “Does anyone know if this causes social distress? Can we bring these photos to the police?” another questioned. Several were furious, especially since Jau Sang professionally works as a lawyer. “(A) lawyer (acts) like this… a disgrace too the Bar Association!” one comment read. “Kiang Jau Sang, (it’s difficult for me to imagine). How do you face your (clients)?”
Others got a kick out of it, praising the duo for their bold moves. One comment frankly stated: “I admire you more and more.” A few were concerned that the outfit wasn’t warm enough and asked, “Aren’t you afraid (of the) cold?” Another netizen was more concerned with the damage they were doing with BLACKPINK Lisa’s song. “Don’t insult Lisa’s song,” they said solemnly to the duo.
Netizens weren’t the only ones with opinions about the duo. YouTuber Yang Bao Bei (YBB) also left a comment on the photos. “Wow,” she said simply which made several people laugh. YBB’s gambling addiction led to her defrauding people earlier this year. As such, many advised her to stay away from Genting Highlands which is known for its casino. Bryan however, seems confident in YBB’s ability to control herself. “Come play,” he invited, much to the delight of netizens.
The duo maybe having fun, but we do hope they are sticking closely to SOPs. It’s all fun and games until one of them reports themselves with a Covid infection.
So far the post has garnered almost 9000 likes and 10,000 shares. We’re sure the numbers will continue to climb. We’re also sure this isn’t the last we’ll see of Bryan Wee. However, we are curious if he will switch to another outfit next time, or will he continue milking this one for all it’s worth.
