A video of a female staff scolding a group of customers who were flocking the Pos Malaysia office had gone viral on social media since yesterday (Tuesday, 14th September).
The 14-second video, which was initially shared on the Anak Felda FB page, showed hundreds of customers (believed to be foreigners) queuing up in a line without practising physical distancing to enter the premise.
The one thing that caught the attention of netizens was when the female staff went on a rampage by raising her voice while ordering the foreigners to keep their distance or else, they won’t be allowed to enter the post office. That being said, it was then revealed that the large group of people went to the Klang Post Office in Jalan Stesen for their passport appointment!
The incident, which took place at about 8:30am yesterday, was later reported to the police by the post office manager. South Klang District Police Chief, ACP Shamsul Amar Ramli, said, based on the initial investigation, there were 130 people who had come to the office to collect their passports.
According to the police official, this was because the Bangladesh embassy had appointed Pos Malaysia Klang branch as an agent to enable their citizens to their pick up their renewed passports. Shamsul Amar further revealed that the SOP compliance team from the South Klang IPD was present at the location and managed to handle the whole situation.

Apart from that, Shamsul Amar also stressed that his party will also assign the team at Pos Malaysia Klang branch to carry out their part in order to prevent any similar incident from happening again.
