Remy Ishak and Ezza Yusof are officially kicking off a new chapter after tying the knot today (Saturday, 21st August). The newly-married couple said their “I Dos” at Masjid Negara Kuala Lumpur.
After several postponements (at least 3 times) due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Remy and Ezza were finally able to proceed with their wedding ceremony while abiding by the SOP set by the National Security Council (MKN) and Federal Territory Islamic Religious Department (Jawi).
The wedding event was an intimate affair with only one other attendee. The individual was the bride’s older brother Rozman Yusof, who was present as her male guardian (Wali). Thankfully the ceremony was smooth sailing.
“And so, our journey begins as husband and wife. Do wish us only the best and happiness,” Remy (real name Mohammad Zalimei Ishak) said in a press statement. The 39-year-old Malaysian actor added, “Ezza is always there for me. She’s someone I could turn to, I could talk to and share things with. So, I concluded, she’s the one.”
