Twitter has been buzzing with excitement because the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards is around the corner. Fans discuss who they hope will win a Grammy award this year while artists express their thoughts regarding the nominations.
One such artist is Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas, who made this tweet:
I didn’t get nominated for a Grammy this year. But I’m thinking of calling the Grammy board to see if they have some votes they can find for me?

Fans were quick to suggest places to look such as under the tables and in suitcases. A few suggested a recount as there may have been a mistake.
Jokes aside, while the Grammy Awards was to take place on 31st January at the Staples Center, plans have changed due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. A joint statement from the Recording Academy, CBS and show producers was released yesterday announcing the postponement of the event to 14th March.
The 63rd #GRAMMYs have been postponed to Sunday, March 14, 2021.

The organisers decision for the postponement is understandable and reasonable. With the Covid situation worsening in LA, the organisers decided to prioritise the health of the crew over the production.
“Nothing is more important than the health and safety of those in our music community and the hundreds of people who work tirelessly on producing the show,” the statement said.

With the postponement of the Grammys, maybe Rob Thomas will get the recount he so deserves.
