A few female celebrities and Instagram influencers have gotten themselves involved in a high-end prostitution ring, reportedly charging between RM20k to RM40k a night.
The reason behind this is these household names are willing to put dignity aside just to portray a lavish lifestyle.
Source: Portugal ResidentAccording to Utusan Malaysia , a spokesperson from The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) said that “high-end” prostitution has been in the entertainment industry for a long time. They also reported that the usual customers for the escort service are people who are quite well-off.
The MACC recently arrested a local celebrity to aid in their investigation on the “Macau Scam” syndicate, and they’ve found out that this individual is the middle man in this prostitution operation. The middle man’s role is to set the prices and arrange the meetings between the girls and their customers.
The source also reported that they have a list of local celebrities and Instagram influencers involved but will not be able to reveal the list for now. “This high-end prostitution ring charges up to RM20,000 to RM40,000 per night and we are not surprised. However, we will not reveal the list for now,” said MACC Chief Commissioner, Datuk Seri Azam Baki.
As of now, the MACC is keeping an eye on celebrities who are living an opulent lifestyle despite having a source of income that is disproportionate to their way of living.
