The Japanese discount chain, Don Don Donki (ドンキ), is well known for its discounted products ranging from groceries, beauty, clothing, electronics, and more.
After launching in Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong, this Japanese Discount King empire is finally making its debut here in Malaysia.
China Press reported that the first outlet will open in Lot 10 Shopping Mall, Bukit Bintang, near Zara. No word yet on Don Don Donki Malaysia’s opening date but we’re already eagerly anticipating the launch. Fingers crossed that the items available will be similar to Japan and not overpriced.
If you’ve previously visited the franchise around Asia, then you’ll probably remember that it’s hard not to grab everything you see and place it into your cart. Many foodies will also assure you that Don Don Donki is a food heaven with plenty of exciting Japanese snacks and products.

- The famous Don Don Donki sweet potato
- Hakodate Stewed Crab
- Matcha Kit Kat and other flavours
- Ramen Noodles
- Yuzu-covered Potato Chips
- Sennarido Crispy Wasabi Pistachios

- Japanese whiskey, sake, beer and shochu
