Another fresh K-pop couple in town? This time around, BIGBANG member T.O.P (최승현) is rumoured to be dating rookie actress Kim Gavin (김가빈)
The rumours sparked after Chinese media outlet, Sina, shared a snapshot of T.O.P wrapping his arms around Gavin’s shoulder. Based on the viral photo below, the post was uploaded by the upcoming actress on her Instagram.
Gavin immediately removed the photo afterwards. But apparently, netizens were quick enough to screenshot the image and spread it online. Besides that, fans pointed out that the rapper also uploaded a photo of himself wearing the similar outfit during his birthday celebration back in November 2019. Therefore, fans concluded that the photo might be outdated.
Netizens soon flocked to Gavin’s Instagram and found quite a number of “proof” based on the photos uploaded by her, hinting that the two have indeed been dating for a while! In this case, fans noticed that a number of T.O.P and Gavin’s posts on social media drew similarities with each other. This included the places they’ve visited, couple outfits, and couple items among others.

Fans also noted that T.O.P had deleted numerous photos from his account. Soon after the reports came to light, BIGBANG’s label YG Entertainment was asked to give clarifications on the matter. According to the company, “It’s difficult for us to confirm anything regarding our artistes’ private lives. We ask for your understanding.”
Meanwhile, Gavin’s agency SM C&C responded by saying that they “cannot confirm the reports.” For those who don’t know, Gavin made an appearance on Mnet’s “Love Catcher 2” and has since signed with the entertainment agency back in February as an actress.
