Cue the wedding bells, someone’s about to walk down the aisle!
After 7 years of romance, former Wonder Girls member Hyerim (혜림) is set to marry the love of her life, Taekwondo athlete Shin Min Chul (신민철) in a few months time.
Earlier today (Friday, 1st May), the K-pop starlet’s agency, rrr Entertainment delivered the good news via a statement that reads (translated via Allkpop):
“After 7 years together, protecting their unchanging love toward each other with loyalty and trust, Hyerim and Shin Min Chul have decided to bring their love to completion through marriage. The two plan on holding a wedding ceremony on 5th July at a hall in Seoul. However, we cannot reveal any further specific details, so we ask for your kind understanding.
It may be a time of strain and difficulty for everyone, but we are carefully delivering this news as we believed that it was proper to let those who have been loving and cheering Hyerim to know the news. We ask for your warm congratulations toward the two, who are on the brink of a new chapter in their lives. Thank you.”
Back in March, the “Be My Baby” hit-maker revealed that she has been dating taekwondo athlete Shin Min Chul since 2013. They are currently starring in MBC’s reality show “Don’t Be Jealous” (부러우면 지는거다), where they showcase their sweet love story. Interestingly, the lovebirds are also set to share with viewers their marriage preparations on the show as well. Awh!
The couple also revealed that they got engaged this month. Congrats to the bride and groom-to-be!
