Dato’ Aliff Syukri recently caused a stir among local netizens for promoting poor quality face masks on his page. To top it off, even his failed demonstration of the product started trending on international site Reddit.
As a response to that, Aliff took to his Instagram to clarify the matter. According to the D’Herbs boss, he didn’t expect that the mask would leak after the item was poured with water.

He further shared that the RM25 face mask was open for pre-order only. Surprisingly, after what had happened recently, Aliff revealed that he will cancel his plans to sell the face mask. He also took the chance to apologise to the public following the controversy.
In the meantime, the “Abang Nak Tegur” singer also expressed his hopes that netizens will stop highlighting his faults since it’s only human to make mistakes. He concluded the clip by expressing his hopes that his explanation will put an end on the ongoing criticism online.
Many netizens left positive remarks on the comments section, praising Aliff for being transparent on owning up to his mistake and apologising for it. In addition, some even advised him to be more careful before promoting or releasing a product.
