International superstar Mariah Carey recently posted an update on her official Twitter account, sending love and gratitude towards all frontline workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The 50-year-old songstress tweeted, “Sending my insurmountable gratitude to all healthcare workers and first responders around the world. We appreciate you so much!! Please show yourself and tweet me so we can all celebrate you!”

The reply section was flooded with tons of her followers sharing their photos in their working attire online. However, one particular picture managed to catch Carey’s attention. And the best part is, the tweet was posted by a fan from Malaysia!

The Twitter user Asraf Nordin (@nordin_asraf) shared a photo of his aunt who is also a frontline officer, along with two of her other colleagues wearing a set of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) suits. “The middle one is my aunt! She works as a nurse at a hospital, the one near at my place! She is also a frontliner!! Thank you Mariah for sending love to all healthcare which includes her obviously!” he tweeted.

Interestingly, it didn’t take long before the Grammy winner commented on Asraf’s tweet online. Carey replied to his tweet with a sweet message that reads, “Real life heroes,” along with red heart emoji as a symbol of sending her love to her aunt and the gang.

The “We Belong Together” hit-maker’s reply to Asraf has gained over 3000 retweets and 643 likes on Twitter as at time of writing.
