It’s revealed that the petition for the dismissal of Vivy Yusof from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM)’s board of directors has been permanently removed.
The news was announced by the creator of the petition himself, Mazril Mazlan on his social media recently.
According to Mazril, the decision was made because the cause had already been achieved but more importantly, the issue has been resolved. He also thanked those who supported and signed the appeal back when it was first introduced last week.
It’s also believed that the netizen had filed a petition against Vivy who allegedly came out with a statement belittling the B40 and M40 groups. Furthermore, the petition was also created to urge people to boycott the fashion icon. Based on the latest result, the petition has gained over 230,000 signatures since its launch.
Prior to this, Vivy took to her Instagram to apologise and clear the air on the misunderstandings regarding the controversy.
