Aishah Sinclair recently shared on her Instagram that she and her family were supposed to fly to Jakarta over the weekend to attend the tahlil (Islamic ritual to remember the deceased) ceremony to commemorate 40 days since her brother Ashraf’s passing.
However, they had to change their plans at the last minute. Instead, the Sinclairs gathered together via an app called Zoom together with the ustaz who led the Yassin recital. Aishah uploaded a collaged photo of the family, including sister-in-law Yuna and hubby Adam Sinclair.

“Post tahlil family shot. Missed Daddy because his connection kept on falling. We were all supposed to be over in Jakarta this weekend, but the coronavirus had other plans. So we decided to all meet on Zoom, even the ustaz leading the tahlil was online with us,” shared Aishah.
The MIX fm announcer also didn’t forget to thank everyone who have been showering the late Ashraf with their thoughtful prayers. “We are all doing better now. Some days are harder than others, but we are coping in our own little way. I know a lot of people read the Yassin remotely too, not just for Ash’s 40th day gone, but before that too. For that we are forever grateful,” Aishah further added in the caption.
For those uninitiated, the “Gol & Gincu” actor passed away due to heart attack back on 18th February. May his soul rest in peace.
