Take note peeps! Pos Malaysia has just announced that most international mail and parcel services have been suspended until further notice.
The reason being? Flights have been cancelled and numerous airports are taking a hiatus to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic. However, a few exceptions have been made. Services are still available for China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the UK.
Express Mail Service will still be available though – but only to a limited capacity. A huge chunk of destinations have been put on hold. As the second phase of Malaysia’s movement control order (MCO) takes effect tomorrow (Wednesday, 1st April), it’s hard to predict when most businesses will resume – at least until 14th April.
The company stated that updates will be provided from time to time. Until then, we’ll just have to do our part in staying at home and avoid going out unless necessary. Take a look at Pos Malaysia’s statement below:
