As we are speaking, the Covid-19 (coronavirus) pandemic has been spreading throughout the whole continent, with the increase of number of cases and deaths recorded worldwide.
Most recently, Daily Mail reported that international football star Cristiano Ronaldo has to undergo quarantine at his home in Madeira, Portugal after his Juventus teammate Daniele Rugani was tested positive of coronavirus.
Worse, Ronaldo is also said to have shared the same dressing room with the 25-year-old (circled in pic) before this! Besides him, fellow players from the Italian club and also competing team Inter Milan were also advised to be isolated.
This is not the first time for a global star to encounter such situation. Prior to Ronaldo, K-pop stars Chungha (청하) and also Tzuyu (쯔위) from girl group TWICE also had to face the same exact consequence as well.
Back on 1st March, the ex-IOI member’s label MNH Entertainment confirmed that two of their staffs were diagnosed with Covid-19, following their trip to Milan, Italy. Thankfully, Chungha as well as other MNH officials tested negative for the life-threatening disease. The agency then requested for the “Gotta Go” singer to undergo self-quarantine.
As for Tzuyu’s case, it’s revealed that the 21-year-old went back to her hometown Tainan, Taiwan on 3rd March. She is currently under a 14-day long isolation, in accordance to the coronavirus quarantine policy conducted by the country’s authorities. This came after the 9-piece bubblegum pop ensemble’s cancellation of their concert due to concerns of the outbreak.
Please stay safe, guys!
