Jay Chou (周杰倫) has been posting a series of travel photos from Australia on Instagram lately. This has led to speculations that the Mandopop King is planning to settle down under.
Word on the street has it that the 41-year-old has been exploring Australia with the intention to purchase a property for retirement purposes. In light of the coronavirus outbreak, the concert postponements have also provided the singer with more time for family.
Since Australia is Hannah Quinlivan (昆凌)’s home country and her family members still resides there, it makes sense for the Chou family to settle here. Rumour has it that, Jay already has his eyes on a mansion in the Gold Coast worth about 50 million HKD (approximately RM27 million).
Based on his Instagram uploads alone, it’s obvious that the Taiwanese superstar has grown fond of the laid back culture and nice sceneries. The whole fam bam have also been exploring Melbourne (you can spot Jay striking a pose at the famous ACDC Lane).
For fans who are curious on what sort of mansion Jay and Hannah are considering, Goody 25 shared some stunning home pictures based on what they’ve seen from the pop star’s interior design drawings.
There is an open living room, home theatre, and a private outdoor pool that would be perfect for his young kids. Take a look:
