2019 has been a busy year for Canadian actor Keanu Reeves.
The 55-year-old heartthrob has been making spotlights this year with his role in movies including “John Wick 3”, “Toy Story 4” as well as his cameo appearance in the Netflix movie “Always Be My Maybe”.

Recently, it was reported that both DC and Marvel are “fighting” over Reeves for his possible feature in their respective upcoming feature films. DC and Warner Bros are currently eyeing Reeves to reprise his role as John Constantine in their future “Constantine” movie.
On the other hand, Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige has revealed that Reeve’s name often comes to mind whenever they’re planning for upcoming movies. Marvel fans are also dying to witness the “Speed” actor take on various superhero roles including Wolverine, Adam Warlock and also Moon Knight. Word on the street also has it that the main reason Warner eventually gave the green light for “Matrix 4” is to keep Reeves away from anything MCU-related. It’s believed that if they are able to do so, they will be able to revive the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
As of writing, Reeves has yet to made any confirmation or any official statement in addressing the issue. At 55, it’s good to know that the action star is still a hot commodity in Hollywood – especially when you have 2 giant studios vying to sign you on.
