Malaysian songstress Shila Amzah (茜拉) and husband, Haris Idraki Elias are now officially parents!
The 29-year-old “Patah Seribu” singer announced the good news via her social media account that she had safely delivered a son, named Seth Uwais bin Haris Idraki on Saturday (31st August 2019) – the day we celebrated Merdeka nationwide.
In the post, Shila expressed her gratitude and thanked her family members, friends as well as her fans for their warm wishes and prayers, “Syukur Alhamdulillah, I have safely delivered our first baby last night on the 31st of August (on Merdeka Day and Awal Muharram), at 11:43, through the emergency c-section, weighed 2.88kg.”
“Haris and I are so touched with all the warm prayers and wishes, thank you so much. Alhamdulillah thank you for the blessings of Allah for His grace and sustenance. Introducing, Seth Uwais bin Haris Idraki,” she further added in the post.
In addition to that, she also updated her followers on her current condition. According to the award-winning performer, she’s advised by her doctor to have full rest after 55-hours and 43-minutes battle in the labour room. She expressed hope that the netizens will pray for her health.
This is the couple’s first child since tying the knot on 19th April 2018. Congrats to the new mummy and daddy! ?
