Malaysian Model Amelia Henderson Wins Award In South Korea

Malaysian actress and model Amelia Thripura Henderson has been honoured the Malaysian model of the year at the 14th Asia Model Festival Awards (AMFA) 2019 in South Korea.

The award ceremony was held at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea, and was attended by many famous Korean celebrities including Han Seung Yeon, Kim Hye Yoon, Eum Joon Suk, (G)I-DLE, Stray Kids and former Wanna One members Park Ji Hoon and Lai Kuan Lin.

The 23-year-old Malaysian model was awarded the Star Model Award 2019 in the Malaysia category during the 3rd day of the Asia Model Festival.

“Thank you so much to the organisers for having me. It’s been such an honour and I’m incredibly priviledged to represent my beautiful country Malaysia. So on behalf of everyone at home, I just want to say terima kasih and kamsahamida,” she said during her award acceptance speech.
