Oh no, it looks like YG Entertainment no longer wants anything to do with Seungri (승리) moving forward.
This afternoon (Tuesday, 19th March), Soompi reported that “any indication of YG and BigBang (빅뱅) have been completely removed from Seungri’s official profile on Naver”.
Last week (Wednesday, 13th March), YG Entertainment confirmed that the company had officially sever ties with the 28-year-old K-pop star. This came after Seungri announced on Instagram that he was quitting the entertainment industry amid the sex scandal.
As of today, Seungri’s profile on Naver no longer has any traces of his affiliation with BigBang and YG. Not only were all YG-related information deleted from his profile, the singer’s history with BigBang along with social media links (YouTube, Weibo, Facebook, and Instagram accounts) have been completely removed!

Even BigBang’s profile on Naver has removed Seungri from the line-up. Only the 4 other members – G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung – remain. Fans are obviously upset at the company’s decision, saying that despite Seungri’s shortcomings, they shouldn’t wipe out his contributions in the past.
In similar news, Seungri has also been suspected of evidence (in regards to the scandal) from his phone. Commentator Go Sung Kook stated, “From what I’m aware of, (the fact that he deleted the photos) can be verified by the National Scientific, Criminal & Investigation Laboratory. It won’t be difficult for them to find out whose name is on that name tag. They just need to investigate it.”
So what’s the connection you ask? It is believed that the deleted photo of Seungri in police uniform can be linked back to his 2014 car accident (suspected of drunk driving) and Senior Superintendent Yoon, who is rumoured to be the police officer responsible for covering the criminal activity from the chatroom scandal.
