Congratulations are in order for Dana Slosar, who has just been officially crowned the winner of “Asia’s Next Top Model” cycle 6. This makes her the 3rd Thai model to win the reality competition, following Jessica Amornkuldilok from cycle 1 and Tawan Kedkong from cycle 3.
She beat out runner-ups Philippine’s Adela-Mae Marshall and Taiwan’s Mia Sabathy during last night’s finale episode. With a “work hard, play hard” motto, the laidback Thai-American beauty went from almost being eliminated in episode 3, to securing best photo of the week in episode 5 and 7, while bagging the ést.lab by ESTETICA ambassadorship along the way.
As the winner of “Asia’s Next Top Model”, Dana will be receiving the following:
- her own Subaru XV
- a cover and spread on Harper’s Bazaar Thailand
- an avatar in the show’s new mobile game
- a modelling contract with Storm Model management in London!
“Ohhh lord help me … my head still cannot process!! What an unforgettable moment I will treasure forever. Going into this competition, I already felt so proud to be able to represent Thailand; to represent my country and win is the most indescribably incredible moment in my life thus far. I am so grateful to have met the other contestants of AsNTM Cycle 6 – you all inspired me in some way and I’m sure your countries and fans feel the same and are very proud of you too,” the 24-year-old model wrote on her Instagram.
She added, “To my loud girls – To find such amazing friends during a COMPETITION … wow. Thank you for surrounding me with love always and for making me believe in myself when I needed a boost. The most important lesson I’ve learnt from this experience is that, whatever challenges life brings you, concentrate on the reasons why you could succeed, rather than the reasons why you might fail. I would like to thank my family, friends, and fans for supporting me – Winning is an amazing destination, but you all made the journey there unforgettable.”
The “Asia’s Next Top Model” cycle 6 finale episode will be available on YouTube tonight (Thursday, 25th October).
