Have you been searching for new food experiences to share with your friends and family? At the newly launched SkyAvenue in Resorts World Genting, we were recently treated to some of the best meals at Burger & Lobster as well as La Fiesta.

The members of the media were given a brief tutorial on “3 Ways to Shell A Lobster” – it’s actually way easier than you think. Meanwhile at La Fiesta, we were thrilled to learn from the experts during at our Sangria workshop.

1. Burger & Lobster

At any given time of the day, there’s always a long queue of hungry customers at Burger & Lobster waiting to chow down on some succulent air-flown Nova Scotian lobsters. The 3,500 sq ft space can fit up to 170 diners. There’s also a section at the alfresco seats that will offer a view of the new Twentieth Century Fox World theme park when it debuts.

For those visiting with a group of people, the Tower of London can feed up to 6 mouths. It has something of everything with all the best items on the menu. The set includes 1 Original Burger, 1 B&L burger, 1 Truffle Fries, 2 Original Lobsters, 1 Chilli Roll, unlimited chips and salad, 1 Original Roll, 2 Ice Cream Sundaes and 4 timekeepers drinks.

Here’s a short tutorial on how to tackle the delicious lobster:

  • Location: Level 1, SkyAvenue
  • Operation Hours: 11am – 10pm daily (Monday to Thursday), 11am – 12 midnight (Friday and eve of Public Holiday), 9am – 12 midnight (Saturday), 9am to 10pm (Sunday and National Public Holiday)

2. La Fiesta

Experience a little piece of Barcelona at this notable Spanish restaurant called La Fiesta. What’s unique about this cozy and intimate venue (85 seating capacity) is its open kitchen concept and traditional Spanish eatery style. La Fiesta’s pride is reserved for its Spanish Iberico pig.

However during our visit, we were treated to their Canadian lobster version, Spanish cheeses (Tortas de Casar), the classic Seafood Paella, patatas bravas (potatoes in spiced tomato sauce), and more. Another highlight is of course, La Fiesta’s range of fiery sangrias. There are 4 unique selections – Classic Sangria (red or white wine), Picasso, Amor de Blanco, and the signature Sangria Catalana.

  • Operation Hours: 3pm – 10pm (Monday – Thursday), 12pm – 12am (Saturday), 12pm – 10pm (Sunday).
