Malaysia’s Hip-Hop Concert 16 Baris Live Is Back For Its 2nd Installment

Rap legend Joe Flizzow is bringing his famous cypher show LIVE on stage once again with the 2nd installment of 16 Baris Live this coming August!

For those who missed the 1st 16 Baris Live at Publika last April, no worries, as the 2nd edition is set to raise its bar by featuring not only the best of the best local hip-hop acts but also some of the best rappers from the Southeast Asian region.

Since the 1st edition of 16 Baris Live was so overwhelming (to the point that hundreds of people ended up waiting outside of The Bee, Publika), Joe decided to hold the 2nd concert at a wider open space which is the National Tennis Center in Kuala Lumpur.

Some of the rappers who will be presented in the upcoming hip-hop fest are Aman RA, Ashtin, B-Heart, Benzooloo, Dan Shiv, Deekid, Frank Loco, Juzzthin, Kid Raw, M2A, Sheezay, Waris, and more while the returning perfomers include Altimet, SonaOne, Airliftz, Alif, Fariz Jabba, Lil J, Kayda, Yung Raja, and Zamaera.

Brought to us by Tune Talk, entry fee is Free but visitor will need to register to get the tickets. Tune Talkers are allowed to redeem their tickets from today onward while non-users will only be able to get their tickets starting from 1st August.

16 Baris is a collaboration between Kartel Records and Rocketfuel Entertainment, aiming to showcase up-and-coming Asian talent hailing from all over Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore who freestyle in 16 bars.

  • Venue: National Tennis Center, Kuala Lumpur
  • Date: 11th August 2018 (Saturday)
  • Time: Doors open at 5pm
  • Entrance: Free but requires registration
