Malaysians love Jacky Cheung (张学友). Whenever the Cantopop “god” brings his concert to our local shores, it’s always a sold-out event.
If you recall, the 57-year-old singer held 3 back-to-back concerts in Kuala Lumpur earlier in January. Even then, many fans failed to secure tickets. Well, guess what? You could be seeing this famous icon again in October.

This news comes courtesy of China Press who announced that Cheung will be returning to Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil for another series of concerts. According to the publication, fans can expect the concert dates to take place on 5th, 6th, and 7th October (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). When contacted, the concert organiser hinted that they were working on finalising schedule details.
During Cheung’s previous “A Classic Tour” Live in Malaysia, the entertainer promised the Malaysian audiences that he’ll be back soon. It appears that he’s finally making good on his word. Nevertheless, we’re still surprised that the legendary performer may be holding a record-breaking amount of shows in Malaysia within a year.

Ticket prices will remain unchanged as his last tour in Kuala Lumpur. Fans can expect ticket sales to commence in August.
