Dua Lipa was forced to cancel her concert in Denver a few days ago after experiencing an ear infection.
The pop star had just performed 3 songs when she tearfully told the audience that she wasn’t feeling well. The decision to stop the show was made by Lipa together with her doctor after learning she could potentially risk permanent damage to her ear.
“I really tried to push through for this show, I wanted to give you guys a really good show. I feel so bad for letting you guys down because I can’t possibly or physically do it and this is not the kind of show I want to give you guys. So I’m so, so, so sorry but I’m not going to continue tonight. I will be back, I’m so sorry, thank you so much,” the British star said.
Lipa also took to Twitter to provide more details on her situation in hopes that concert-goers will understand her decision for pulling the show. She also promised that she and her team are working on rescheduling the date. Many fans have taken to social media to convey their well wishes, clearly accepting her heartfelt apology.
