Will a K-pop artiste finally make it big in the United States?
Jay Park is preparing for his US advancement, with insiders revealing that his single will feature American rapper 2 Chainz.
The 31-year-old singer, who was busy filming his new music video in the US last month, has finished the recording for his new single. The track will be released through Roc Nation, which is also home to Jay-Z, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, and more.
The Korean-American signed with Roc Nation in July and the contract will be a stepping stone for his activities and album release in the US.
According to Koreaboo, the “All I Wanna Do” singer and his friends hinted that he intended to join the label back in March 2017. During a session with Seattle-based podcast “The Glow Up”, Jay Park revealed that a huge company hit him up.
Jay Park made his debut in 2008 as the leader of 2PM. He eventually left the group, but has had a successful career as a solo artiste. His hits include “Aquaman“, “Joah“, and “Me Like Yuh“.
All the best, Jay! We can’t wait for his new song to drop 😀
