If you’re a BIGBANG VIP, you’d know that Seungri (승리) will be opening Aori Ramen here in Malaysia.
A few months ago, we made the announcement that the BIGBANG maknae (youngest member) is set to debut his famous Japanese ramen joint in Kuala Lumpur. We can now confirm that the first Aori Ramen outlet in Malaysia will be in Pavilion KL.
Previous snapshots from fans show that Pavilion KL’s Aori Ramen was originally scheduled to open in February. However, the opening date has since been postponed to April 2018. That’s right K-pop fans, you’ll finally get to experience what Aori Ramen is about when it launches next month.
Aori Ramen is best known for its tonkotsu ramen. It’s a traditional Hakata-style ramen with a pork-based broth that has chashu pork belly, braised egg, and crushed garlic. Since opening its first branch in Cheongdam-dong on December 2016, Aori Ramen has since expanded to more than a dozen outlets.
No word yet if the Aori Ramen joint will have a Halal status.
UPDATE (8th June):
It’s been a long time coming, but the wait is finally over! Seungri’s Aori Ramen outlet was originally expected to open in Pavilion KL in April. After a slight delay, this food joint will debut tomorrow (Saturday, 9th June).
The first Aori Ramen restaurant in Malaysia is located on the 6th floor Pavilion Mall at lot 6.36.00.
