Have you heard VIPs? BIGBANG’s maknae (youngest member) Seungri (승리) will be launching Aori Ramen in Malaysia.
For those that don’t know, Aori Ramen is South Korea’s famous Japanese ramen joint owned by the 27-year-old singer himself. Seungri took to Instagram yesterday (Wednesday, 15th November) to make the announcement himself.
The BIGBANG member wrote, “@aoriramen yes we going to #KL #Malaysia too!” An image of a yukata-clad anime girl holding a bowl of Aori Ramen while a couple of Malaysia’s iconic landmarks can also be seen in the background. No further details were given other than the fact that Seungri’s Aori Ramen store will open in Kuala Lumpur.
Aori Ramen is best known for its tonkotsu ramen. It’s a traditional Hakata-style ramen with a pork-based broth that has chashu pork belly, braised egg, and crushed garlic. Since opening its first branch in Cheongdam-dong on December 2016, Aori Ramen has since expanded up to 14 outlets. Kuala Lumpur will soon be the franchise’s 15th restaurant.
