Are you a fan of Japanese fried snacks? We’ve got good news for you cause FamilyMart Malaysia has recently introduced two new food items.

According to the staff at FamilyMart Mid Valley, the boneless Crispy Chiki and Chicken Karaage debuted yesterday (Wednesday, 17th January). In conjunction with the debut, the popular convenience store is also offering a discount on both selections.

The Crispy Chiki reminds us of the “FamiChiki” (short for “FamilyMart Chicken”) that can be found at the FamilyMart outlets in Japan. The crispy chicken is both tender and juicy. Because it is boneless, this makes it very easy to consume. Originally priced at RM6.50, the launch promo price is now RM4.90.

Chicken Karaage (pronounce kara-ah-geh) is also another favourite amongst food lovers. The Japanese style fried chicken is usually seasoned with soy sauce, coated lightly with flour, and deep fried. It makes for a great appetiser to go with your drinks. Priced at RM5.40, you can now get it for RM3.90 (promo price).

Congrats to FamilyMart Malaysia on opening 3 new outlets this month. They are located at UCSI University, Sri Petaling, and Bangsar South.
