1. Man Who Sets the Table (밥상 차리는 남자)

- Cast: Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, On Joo Wan, Shim Hyung Tak, Lee Il Hwa
“Man Who Sets the Table” (literal title) follows Lee Roo Ri (played by Sooyoung), a woman who decides to travel to a foreign country to get away from her strict father. There, she meets Jung Tae Yang (played by On Joo Wan), a man who wanders around the world and places priority on his happiness.
2. My Golden Life (황금빛 내 인생)

- Premiere Date: 2nd September 2017
- Network: KBS2
- Cast: Park Shi Hoo, Shin Hye Sun, Lee Tae Hwan, Seo Eun Su
“My Golden Life” is set to take over “Father Is Strange” after it ends. While UEE was first offered the lead female role, producers cast Shin Hye Sun (of “The Legend Of The Blue Sea” fame) after the former After School member declined. The plot sees Seo Ji Ahn, a former rich girl, as she becomes her family’s breadwinner after her father’s bankruptcy. It chronicles her struggles to find new meaning and happiness in life.
3. Argon (아르곤)

- Cast: Kim Joo Hyuk, Chun Woo Hee, Park Won Sang
Directed by Lee Yoon Jung (of “Cheese In The Trap” fame), “Argon” is an 8-episode series about a group reporters who strive to deliver the facts in a world full of fake news. Kim Joo Hyuk plays an anchor, reporter, and leader of investigative reporting team called “Argon” while Chun Woo Hee is a struggling reporter trying to get a permanent job.
4. Adante (안단테)

- Premiere Date: 10th September 2017
- Network: KBS1
- Cast: EXO’s Kai, Baek Chul Min, Lee Ye Hyun, Kim Jin Kyung
Starring EXO’s Kai as antisocial high schooler Lee Shi Kyung, “Andante” is a coming-of-age drama that focuses on Shi Kyung as he moves to the countryside from the city with his family and learns the true meaning of life and love.
5. Magic School (마술학교)

- Premiere Date: 11th September 2017
- Network: JTBC
- Cast: GOT7’s Park Jin Young, Yoon Park, 2PM’s Nichkhun, Shin Eunso, Ryu Seungsoo
Produced by JYP Pictures, “Magic School” is a fantasy drama that tells the story of Na Ra (played by Park Jin Young), a university student who has never had a girlfriend in his life; Jay (played by Yoon Park) is a popular magician mired in deep sadness; and Joon (played by Nichkhun) is an intern at a hospital.
6. Temperature of Love (사랑의 온도)

- Premiere Date: 18th September 2017
- Network: SBS
- Cast: Seo Hyun Jin, Yang Se Jong, Jo Bo Ah, Kim Jae Wook
“Temperature of Love” sees the complicated love lives of today’s young people who battle with loneliness and other emotional scars. The story centres on Hyun Soo (played by Seo Hyun Jin) is an aspiring drama series writer. She uses “Jane” as her username and begins chatting with a man known as “Chakhan Seupeu” (which means “good soup”), who is actually aspiring French chef Jung Sun (played by Yang Se Jong) online. One day, they meet in real life.
7. While You Were Sleeping (당신이 잠든 사이에)

- Network: SBS
- Cast: Lee Jong Suk, Bae Suzy, Lee Sang Yeob, Jung Hae In
Written by Park Hye Ryun, who also worked on Suzy’s debut drama “Dream High” in 2011, “While You Were Sleeping” will be directed by “Doctors” PD Oh Choong Hwan. The story follows Hong Joo (played by Suzy), a woman who can see unfortunate events that will befall others in her dreams, and Jae Chan (played by Lee Jong Suk), a prosecutor who does everything he can to prevent the woman’s dreams from coming true.
