Ken Jeong (of “The Hangover” fame) must “Hassle the Hoff” to walk away with USD500,000.
Co-produced by the team behind Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s “Baywatch” and David Hasselhoff, “Killing Hasselhoff” is a comedy-action flick that is helmed by “Diary Of A Mad Black Woman” director Darren Grant.
Formerly known as “Untitled Celebrity Death Pool”, the film follows a down-on-his-luck nightclub owner named Chris Kim (played by Ken Jeong) who tries to raise money to cover his debts by murdering his pick in an annual celebrity death pool: David Hasselhoff.
To be honest, the movie looks really promising. The first trailer has everything that we would want to see in an epic comedy starring The Hoff and Jeong: action, gay jokes, and slo-mo running.
And that’s not all, “Killing Hasselhoff also features celebrity cameos from Canadian comedian Howie Mandel (of “America’s Got Talent” fame), Ohio-based musician Kid Cudi, and The Hoff’s original “Baywatch” partner Gena Lee Nolin, and international star Justin Bieber (as the voice of K.I.T.T.).
“Killing Hasselhoff” will hit cinemas in a limited run ahead of its DVD and Digital HD release on 29th August.
