Will Diana Prince reunite with Steve Trevor in “Wonder Woman 2”?
According to Screen Rant, Chris Pine, who signed a multi-picture deal when he joined the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), will be reprising his role as the heroine’s ally and love interest in the upcoming sequel.
In case you’ve forgotten, Steve sacrificed himself to prevent Doctor Poison’s deadly gas from being dispersed across London in “Wonder Woman”. Also, his death (although he didn’t exactly die right in front of our eyes) pushed Diana (played by Gal Gadot) to defeat Ares (played by David Thewlis).
In our opinion, as much as we loved Steve and Diana’s incredible chemistry, we don’t think bringing him back from the dead is a good idea.

Cinema Blend pointed out that there is a possibility that Chris Pine will play one of Steve’s descendants. Actor Lyle Waggoner, who played Steve Trevor in the first season of the 1970s “Wonder Woman” series, stayed on to play Steve Trevor Jr. in season 2.
Besides that, it was also revealed that director Patty Jenkins, who is still in talks to direct the sequel, is developing the script with Geoff Johns. Screen Rant also reported that “Wonder Woman 2” will be taking place in the 1980s during the final days of the Cold War.
See Wonder Woman kick ass alongside Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg in “Justice League”, which is slated for release on 17th November 2017.
