If you’re travelling this Hari Raya, remember to reload your Touch ‘n Go cards beforehand!
PLUS Malaysia has stated that all 134 Touch ‘n Go reload booths at PLUS toll plazas along highways will not be open for operations from 22nd June to 2nd July. This is to ease traffic flow during the holidays.
A spokesperson from PLUS explained that this will help reduce potential congestion at the toll booths and also to not inconvenience other motorists who do not want to top up.
As such, motorists are encouraged to reload reload their Touch ‘n Go or PLUSMiles cards before travelling to ensure that there is sufficient balance. Don’t fret though, as you can still top up your cards at selected customer service centres. The centres are usually open from 7am to 10pm, regardless of weekends and public holidays.

The spokesperson continued, “Additionally, the public can opt to top up their cards at 9,200 other locations nationwide, including ATMs, 24-hour convenience stores and petrol stations, including those operating at R&R areas along the highway.”
Traffic flow along the North-South Expressway is also expected to increase by 21% during this festive season, as there will be an influx of travellers heading back to their hometown.
Yesterday (Wednesday, 14th June), PLUS also revealed that they’ll be offering up to 30% toll rebate for the next 2 weeks.
