Martin Garrix and Troye Sivan have just dropped their collaboration track, “There For You” and we promise, this will be the soundtrack to your weekend. Initially premiered at Coachella and one of his concerts at San Francisco, the studio version of the track was just released today (Friday, 26th May).
Garrix began teasing for the track very early on and promised fans a mid-May release. Yesterday (Thursday, 24th May), the DJ even made public a short making-of teaser, giving fans an official glimpse of the track.
“There For You”, the first collaboration between the 2 artistes, features Sivan’s soothing vocals and chill beats from Garrix. It’s not an EDM track which will make you want to get on the dance floor, but it is a refreshing sound if you want something to help you relax.
With lyrics like “When you’re screaming/ But they only hear you whisper/ I’ll be loud for you/ But you gotta be there for me too” and “I got you/ I promise/ Let me be honest/ Love is a road that goes both ways“, the song sings of a love that is fair on both sides.
