K-Pop fans, are you guys excited for PSY’s comeback next month?
On Thursday (27th April), various reports have confirmed that popular South Korean actor Lee Byung Hun will starring in one of PSY’s (real name: Park Jae Sang) upcoming music videos.
According to Koreaboo, the 2 stars are close longtime friends. PSY attended the Los Angeles premiere of Lee’s film “Red” in 2013, while Lee went to see PSY at his concert the same year. It was also reported that the “Magnificent Seven” actor has already filmed his part for the music video.
PSY upcoming untitled album will mark his first release since his 7th studio album, “Chiljip Psy-da”, which held the title track “Daddy” featuring CL, in December 2015. The 9-track album featured a star-studded guest artiste line-up including will.i.am, Ed Sheeran, JYJ’s Junsu, Gaeko, and more.
Best known for his humorous videos and stage performances, PSY catapulted to global stardom in 2012 with his addictive hit single, “Gangnam Style”, and its invisible horse-riding dance move. The track’s music video is one of the most-watched videos on YouTube. Moreover, his 2013 song, “Gentleman”, managed to acquire 100 million views just days after its release.
