It’s true, APINK’s vocalist Jung Eun Ji will be making her solo comeback.
This was announced by APINK’s agency, Plan A Entertainment, via a teaser image. It was released at midnight today (Monday, 3rd April) on their official social media pages.
The teaser photo gives off the vibe of springtime, just in time for the season in Korea. While not much details have been released, we know that her 2nd solo mini-album will be titled “Space (공간)” (working title).
The title track has also been said to be as comfortable, warm, and healing like her solo debut track “Hopefully Sky”.
This will be the 23-year-old singer’s first comeback since she made her solo debut with “Dream” in April 2016. Her debut was extremely successful, with her title track shooting to the top of Korean music charts after its release. She also contributed to the album by writing the lyrics and composing various tracks. As such, fans are excited to see what she has to bring to the table this time around.
Eun Ji made her debut with APINK in 2011 and is well-know for her strong vocals. She then kick started her acting career in 2012 with tvN’s “Reply 1997” as the main female lead. Her latest work is the track “You’re My Garden”, the OST for k-drama “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon“.
“Space” will be released on 10th April at 12pm KST (11am Malaysian time).
