If you’ve watched the 2nd official trailer from “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, released late last night (Tuesday, 28th March), you’d know that Iron Man/Tony Stark will have a pretty huge role in the film.
However, reports have started to surfaced that Gwyneth Paltrow may bring Pepper Potts back to life on the big screen for “Spider-Man: Homecoming”.
Over on LaineyGossip, the site reported that Pepper Potts was able to return because Sony was willing to pay the actress, since her contract with Marvel had expired. Having said that, neither Sony nor Marvel have officially confirmed the news.
There were previous reports that claimed that Paltrow would cameo as Potts in 2015’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and last year’s “Captain America: Civil War“. Both turned out to be false. Still, her name was brought up when Stark revealed that the both of them were no longer dating.
There has been no mention of Potts in the brand new trailer, but the new footage of Spider-Man and Iron Man is pretty dope.

Watch:
Potts has been absent since “Iron Man 3”. So perhaps, the couple’s break may be addressed in a big way? You may also remember that there was an Easter egg in the first trailer which made reference to Potts.
Would you like to see Paltrow reprise her role as Potts?
