It seems like Trouble Maker is making a “comeback”.
On Wednesday (29th March), Cube Entertainment announced that HyunA will be forming a “2nd Trouble Maker” without former BEAST member Jang Hyun Seung. Apparently, the new co-ed project group has already shot their album cover in Los Angeles.
In a statement, the entertainment company said:
“Hyuna will be promoting in a project group that is like the 2nd Trouble Maker. The release date is not certain but (we will be) preparing in April and hopefully debuting the group by early May.
The team name is still undecided. It will not include Jang Hyun Seung but instead a different member. Fans will be able to see another co-ed project group with Hyuna in it.”
Trouble Maker was formed in 2011 and the group originally consisted of former HyunA and Jang Hyun Seung. Their first release, titled “Troublemaker”, achieved massive success, earning them a triple crown on “M! Countdown”. Moreover, their 2nd release, titled “Now (There Is No Tomorrow)” (2013), had the highest score ever recorded on “Inkigayo”.
The former 4Minute member recently wrapped up her “The Queen Is Back” North American Tour while Jang Hyun Seung recently denied that he will be joining Cube’s re-creation of BEAST.
