It’s almost Morphin’ Time!

In less than a month, the all-new “Power Rangers” are set to invade cinemas all over the world. Lionsgate and Saban Brands have been unleashing their promotional campaign for the forthcoming live-action blockbuster.

A fresh set of colourful character posters featuring the 5 young Rangers in training flights with their respective Dinozords. The Rangers are: Jason Scott as the Red Ranger (played by Dacre Montgomery), Kimberly Hart as the Pink Ranger (played by Naomi Scott), Billy Cranston as the Blue Ranger (played by RJ Tyler), Trini Kwan as the Yellow Ranger (played by Becky G), and Zack Taylor as the Black Ranger (played by Ludi Lin).

It’s nice to see that plenty of classic aspects of the beloved franchise are being included in the Dean Israelite-directed film. There will be many more “Power Rangers” movies, should this 1st instalment prove to be a hit.

These new banner posters (courtesy of Lionsgate) sure look like a helluva lot of fun.

The new international (Japanese) trailer – which will likely serve as the movie’s final trailer – showcases many of the same elements as the previous trailers. However, this newer cut places more emphasis on their interaction with Zordon.

We also get to see these teens fully suited as Power Ranger, battling the Putty Patrol and eventually going head to head against Rita Repulsa and her army. There’s less humour here, compared to the US trailer, but it still offers fans a strong taste of what to expect.

Feel free to get acquainted with the new Rangers in our fun facts article here.

“Power Rangers” is expected to debut in cinemas on 24th March 2017.
