AirAsia X, AirAsia Group’s long-haul, low-cost affiliate carrier, has announced that they’ll be flying 4 times weekly to Honolulu, Hawaii via Osaka from Kuala Lumpur. The maiden flight is set for launch on 28th June 2017.
According to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, Air Asia X is offering promotional fares from as low as RM499 for economy class while the premium flatbed will be priced from RM2,999 starting 11th – 26th February. The travel period for the promotion will be from 28th June 2017 to 6th February 2018.
“This is the game-changing destination we have all been waiting for. By connecting Asean and North Asia to the US with our world-class low fares offering, we will make it possible for those who could only dream of a vacation across the Pacific. We wish to thank all relevant authorities and governments for their support,” added Datuk Kamarudin.

Guests travelling transiting in Osaka do not require a Japanese visa during the 2-hour layover and can return to their seats on the flight after clearing security with any carry-on luggage.
