Queen B is pregnant with not one, but 2 babies! Yes, you heard that right. Beyoncé and Jay Z (real name Shawn Corey Carter) are expecting twins.
The pop star first broke the wonderful news via Instagram on Wednesday (1st February). In the photo, she can be seen cradling her baby bump in a 2-piece lingerie set, surrounded by flowers.
“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed 2 times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by 2, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters,” she wrote.
Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, also shared the shared the same photo on Instagram with the caption, “WOW I don’t have to keep the secret anymore. I am so happy. God is so good, twin blessings.”
The 35-year-old “Sorry” singer and her husband tied the knot in 2008 after 6 years of dating. The couple welcomed their first child, Blue Ivy Carter, in January 2012. In her HBO documentary, “Life Is But a Dream” (2013), the singer revealed that she suffered a miscarriage before giving birth to Blue Ivy.
Beyoncé previously expressed that she would love to have more kids to keep her only daughter company. “I would like more children…I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister (to Solange),” she told “Good Morning America” in May 2013.
