Calvin Harris fans, rejoice! It won’t be long till you get to hear his new songs 🙂
The Scottish DJ has announced that he will be releasing 10 new songs this year. When asked if there are any new upcoming songs this year on Twitter, he simply replied, “10.”
While Calvin Harris has not release an album since “Motion” in 2014, he topped last year’s music chart with “This Is What You Came For” (his collaboration with Rihanna), which was ranked #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “My Way”, a song that featured him as the vocalist.
Billboard pointed out that since Harris is a “singles guy”, he’ll most probably release 10 singles in the next 11 months, even though 10 tracks seem to be enough for an album.
Clavin Harris (real name Adam Richard Wiles) first rose to international fame with his 3rd album, “18 Months” (2012), which topped UK charts and it was ranked #19 on the Billboard 200 chart. On top of that, he became notable for collaborating with famous recording artistes such as Kylie Minogue, Kelis, John Newman, and Ellie Goulding.
In addition to making music, he is an established entrepreneur. He runs his own record label, Fly Eye Records, which houses other talented EDM artistes like Kenneth G and Dillon Francis. Recently, he appeared on Debrett’s 2017 list of the most influential people in Britain.
We don’t know about you, but we’re super excited to see what Harris has installed for 2017!
