This is truly music to our ears.
After over 25 years since recording the Grammy-winning title track for Disney’s 1991 animated classic “Beauty and the Beast” with Peabo Bryson, Celine Dion will be returning to the castle with a brand new tune.

Both Disney and the music icon herself has confirmed that she will be singing the new song “How Does A Moment Last Forever” for the soundtrack. The new tune is written by 8-time Oscar winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Tim Rice. “Being a part of the original film was such a magical experience in my life, and I’m truly honoured to be a part of this film again,” the 48-year-old singer said in a statement.
“How Does A Moment Last Forever” is described as “an emotional ballad about holding onto life’s precious moments”, though you probably could’ve already guessed it based on the song title and choice of artist alone. Snippets of the song will be played in the film while Dion’s full-length version will play during the end credits.

Just last week, it was announced that Ariana Grande and John Legend will perform the film’s title song as a duet. Do you think it’ll be as good as Dion’s original version? We shall see.
The “Beauty and the Beast” soundtrack will go on sale 10th March, a week before the film hits theatres on 17th March.
