3 brand new posters from the high-anticipated “Kong: Skull Island” has just been released and one of them reveals a very interesting image.
Neither of these banners provide any big revelations, but it does give us our first look at the iconic meeting the Eighth Wonder of the World and female protagonist Weaver (played by Brie Larson).

In the images, we can see Weaver getting so close to Kong that she can actually touch him. While this giant ape doesn’t look too please at being touched, Weaver is unharmed, so perhaps he has a soft spot for her after all.
Although Kong has always been perceived as a terrifying and ferocious beast, compassion has always been a part of the King Kong lore. Another consistency can also be found in his fascination with white femininity, particularly the blondes. It’s puzzling to say the least.

Budding romance or not, the creature will return to his rightful place as King of the Jungle when “Kong: Skull Island” hits cinemas on 10th March 2017.
