Can we be besties with Orlando Bloom too?

Thanks to their newfound friendship with the blonde Hollywood actor, Jay Chou (周杰倫) and Hannah Quinlivan (昆凌) were recently invited to Katy Perry’s massive 1950s high school Halloween-themed party.

In conjunction with her birthday last week (she turned 32 on 25th October), Perry came dressed as the high school principal (that’s Principal Hudson to you) of Hudson High. Donning a yellow beehive wig, the “Rise” singer wore a black crop top and a matching circle skirt with yellow checkers.

Her boyfriend, Bloom, showed up as a basketball coach, wearing a red jacket with a B on it and a whistle around his neck. The 39-year-old actor also had on a pair of tight gym shorts, showing off his toned legs.

Jay Chou, on the other hand, attended the event as Wax, his character from his 2013 film, “The Rooftop”. He looked pretty casual considering he only had to put on a black greaser jacket and a pair of blue jeans. His wife, Quinlivan, wore a retro cobalt blue polka-dotted dress.

The classroom-themed photobooth snapshots were shared on Quinlivan’s social media and several netizens have pointed out that Chou’s hand was strategically placed over her chest, to cover her cleavage. Fans believe that the Mando-pop King did it on purpose.

Besides the Chinese couple, the Halloween party was also attended by some of the biggest names from Hollywood – Jessica Chastain, Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse, Georgia May Jagger, Kate Hudson, Josh Gad, Derek Blasberg, and Jessica Alba.

Looks like an amazing party isn’t it? We bet both Chou and Quinlivan must have been star struck by everyone there. Bloom’s selfie with the couple recently went viral when fans took notice of their unlikely budding friendship.

Since ordinary folks like us will probably never get a chance at attending any of these extravagant parties, we’ll just have to make do with what’s on social media.
