3 homegrown vocal powerhouse artistes are coming together to thrill fans with a special concert, “High Note 2016”, in November.
The Malaysian singers are Ziana Zain, Jaclyn Victor, and Azlan Typewriter. As the title suggests, the 2-hour long “Konsert High Note 2016” will see the trio hitting all the right notes that will surely give you goosebumps.
The idea of this concert first came about when Ziana and Azlan collaborated at the 2011’s Anugerah Bintang Popular (ABPBH), performing a spectacular medley of “Anggapanmu” and “Lagu Untukmu”. Since then, the 2 singers have been bombarded by fans for more performances together.
“I agree that our collaboration should not just stop at ABPBH. But to have such a collaboration right after the awards show would not create much of an impact. So, I figured we let fans wait a little so that they will long to see us collaborate again. It is important to build up the momentum, you know and the right time to bring back that magic is now,” said Azlan, whose real name is Nor Azlan Rosle.
According to the 34-year-old rocker, the legendary singer Ziana will be the main star of the event, while being supported by the winner of Malaysian Idol, Jaclyn Victor, and himself. “To include Jaclyn, is a bonus… it’s perfect. We all know her capability, there’s no question about it. Besides, it goes well with the 1Malaysia concept,” he told NST.
