Far East Movement’s track, “Freal Luv”, which features American singer Tinashe, EDM DJ marshmello, and EXO member Chanyeol, has been released alongside the music video.
Not only did Chanyeol work on the song together with Far East Movement, he also made an appearance in the music video. According to SM Entertainment, the idol travelled back and forth between Seoul, Korean, and Shanghai, China in order to film with Far East Movement.
The music video is a psychedelic affair, and offers a futuristic and urban vibe. The track mainly focuses on Tinashe’s soothing and sultry vocals, but Far East Movement and Chanyeol’s raps were equally exceptional. EXO-Ls would be delighted too, as the EXO member took on the challenge of rapping in English.

In August, Far East Movement posted a photo showing Chanyeol in the studio with them, sparking rumours that the 2 were working together. SM Entertainment then confirmed the news, and a few days later, several media outlets reported that the American hip-hop group will be collaborating with Yoon Mi Rae, Jay Park, and SISTAR’s Hyorin too.
The tracks will be included in Far East Movement’s album, “Identity“, due to be released on 21st October, so stay tuned!
