Katniss Everdeen and Peter Quill in the same movie? Yes please!
Directed by Morten Tyldum (from “The Imitation Game”) and written by Jon Spaihts (from “Prometheus”), “Passengers” is an upcoming sci-fi/romance movie starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt as 2 intergalactic passengers on a spacecraft traveling to a distant colony planet.

Sony Pictures chairman Tom Rothman described the film as “both intimate and epic”. He said, “The film required 2 exceptional actors, particularly given the emotional and action gauntlet that the characters must run. (…) This is about two people who take a voyage to space knowing that they will never come back to their families again”.
Also, Jennifer Lawrence previously revealed that she filmed her first “real” sex scene in “Passengers” and said that she couldn’t get past the fact that she had to film a love scene with a married man. Ooh la la ;)

The official synopsis is as follows:
“Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt are 2 passengers onboard a spaceship transporting them to a new life on another planet. The trip takes a deadly turn when their hibernation pods mysteriously wake them 90 years before they reach their destination.

As Jim (played by Pratt) and Aurora (played by Lawrence) try to unravel the mystery behind the malfunction, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction… only to be threatened by the imminent collapse of the ship and the discovery of the truth behind why they woke up.”
The trailer sees how Jim and Aurora meet, flirt, fall in love, and try to save Avalon, their ship. Judging by the looks of the trailer, we think that “Passengers” is going to be a stunning film.
