Back in the early 2000s, the royal (music) couple was Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears. They were the pop prince and princess who ruled the radio and tabloids but like all good things, their relationship ended after 3 years.
But lucky for us, the 2 seems to be on good terms as they have recently revealed that they are interested in collaborating with each other!
When asked about her dream collaborators, Britney recently revealed that the “Cry Me A River” singer is on her list, saying “Aerosmith seems really good and bright. He’s a genius I think. He’s very rock n’ roll. He sings from his soul. Gwen Stefani, I think she’s great. Justin Timberlake is very good.”
At the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of his Netflix concert documentary film “Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids”, Justin told E! News that he’s totally down to collaborate with the “Make Me” singer!
“She did? Sure! Absolutely, absolutely. I have a 17-month-old so I don’t get the headline news. I apologise for not being in the know…I’m accessible, give us a call!” said the 35-year-old singer.
Give the man a call, Britney!
Let the nostalgia begin.
We hope that the 2 pop legends will sing together soon but till then, we’ll wait patiently like how we’ve been waiting for 14 years.
